Dorsey D. Ellis, Jr., William R. Orthwein Distinguished Professor of Law Emeritus; Dean Emeritus. Anna Di Palma Amelung, OLLI Facilitator

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Washington University in St. Louis is a community outreach education program for seniors ages 50 and over that offers a variety of noncredit academic courses. Although there are no exams or grades, all members of this learning community take their responsibilities seriously: student participation is an essential element in our continuing vitality. OLLI offers courses in art and architecture, contemporary issues, creative writing, economics, film studies, history, literature, math/science/technology, music, and philosophy. Knowledgeable members plan, develop, and present the courses and related field trips, workshops, and cultural and social events. OLLI is for people who love learning for the sheer joy of it and are looking for a place to engage their minds
