The hour-long show performed by The Queens of Swing combines music, history and fun.

The music is tunes the all-girl bands played during their heydays of the 1940s. It’s big band era music including Tuxedo Junction, Stardust and St. Louis Blues. The history was carefully researched and describes how the all-girl bands started and ended. The narratives highlight some of the most popular musicians of the 1940s, including a St.Louis lady who played guitar with a local all-girl band named the Rhythm Rockets.
